Our Team

Dr. Chris Chenoweth is the Medical Director at Tulsa Eye Clinic, providing years of clinical experience in medical eye care and procedures. He is highly skilled in managing and treating a wide range of ocular conditions, including dry eye, glaucoma, diabetic eye disease, cataracts, and corneal disease. 

Dr. Chenoweth is also an experienced laser surgeon, having performed thousands of laser procedures, including laser surgery for blurred vision (PRK, LASEK), secondary cataracts, vitreous floaters, and glaucoma.

A native of OKC, Dr. Chenoweth received his Bachelors of Science in Biology from the University of Central Oklahoma and his Doctor of Optometry from NSU college of Optometry. As an adjunct clinical professor with Pacific University College of Optometry, Forrest Grove, Oregon, he had the honor of teaching clinical, laser, and surgical skills to student doctors from across the US and Canada.  

Dr. Chenoweth enjoys volunteering his time and has served on many local and state boards, including the Oklahoma Lions Eye Bank, Integris Health, and the Oklahoma Association of Optometric Physicians. 

His commitment to clinical excellence and compassionate patient care makes him a trusted provider in the Tulsa and surrounding communities. Outside of work, he enjoys music, the outdoors, spending time with family and remaining at the forefront of innovation in eye health. 

Dr. Grace Young grew up in Toronto, Canada, and earned her Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences from the University of Waterloo and her Doctor of Optometry degree at the University of the Incarnate Word Rosenberg School of Optometry in San Antonio, Texas, in 2014.

She has worked in both optometry and ophthalmology settings, providing comprehensive eye exams, pediatric vision care, and pre- and post-operative management for cataract and LASIK patients. Dr. Young is skilled in diagnosing and managing ocular diseases such as glaucoma and macular degeneration, with a special focus on dry eye treatment and eyelid and facial aesthetics.

Dr. Young and her husband, an allergist at Warren Clinic, relocated to Tulsa in 2019. They now have two children—a son and a younger daughter—and enjoy being part of the Holland Hall community. Outside of her practice, Dr. Young loves to travel, explore new restaurants, and spends her free time playing tennis and mahjong.

She is fluent in English and Cantonese and conversant in Spanish. Passionate about service, Dr. Young has volunteered on vision care missions in Mexico, China, and Peru, as well as in underserved communities across the United States. She is an active member of the Oklahoma Association of Optometric Physicians.

Dr. Abbie Etter is a compassionate eye care specialist dedicated to providing personalized, high-quality vision care. She graduated summa cum laude from Oklahoma State University, double majoring in biology and physiology.  She received her Doctor of Optometry degree from Northeastern State University College of Optometry, earning multiple awards in recognition of her academic and clinical excellence.

Dr. Etter particularly enjoys medical eye care, pediatric eye care, and laser surgery, and she values getting to know her patients to provide truly individualized care. Patients consistently praise her friendly personality and the genuine care she brings to every appointment.

Outside the clinic, she is an active member of the community and enjoys life with her husband, Carson,  and their two dogs, embracing the joy of family and furry companionship.  She is a member of the American Optometric Association and the Oklahoma Association of Optometric Physicians.
